INSTANT POT ALFREDO CHICKEN FETTUCINE

Prepare instant pot chicken alfredo pasta in one pot in just 30 mins! This classic comfort food recipe is easy to make & kid-approved!

INGREDIENTS

–  boneless skinless chicken breasts –  salt black pepper olive oil –  pasta of your choice –  minced garlic –  garlic powder –  hot chicken stock  heavy whipping cream cream cheese parmesan cheese

Season the Chicken

Season the chicken breasts with salt & pepper. Add the olive oil to the instant pot when the display reads, “HOT.”

Sear the Chicken

Sear the chicken breast in the hot oil until golden brown, about 5 mins per side. Remove the chicken from the Instant Pot & set it aside.

Add Ingredients

Add the hot chicken stock. Add the pasta, minced garlic, garlic powder,  salt & the rest of the chicken stock. Place the chicken breasts back into the Instant Pot,

Pressure Cook

Close the Instant Pot lid & turn the valve to “sealing.” Set the Instant Pot to “pressure cook/manual” for 10 mins on high.

Release the Pressure

Release the pressure using quick release, by carefully turning the valve to “venting,” then carefully open the lid.

Add the Cheese

Transfer the cooked chicken breasts to a cutting board. Then, Add the heavy cream, cream cheese & parmesan cheese to the pot.

Let the Cheese Melt

Cover the Instant Pot & allow the mixture to sit for 2-3 mins, or until the cream cheese has softened. Slice or shred the chicken breasts while the cheese is melting.

Serve

Add the sliced chicken back to the pot, stir the Instant Pot chicken alfredo pasta well, then serve, & enjoy!
