2lbsrusset potatoes6-7 medium russets
1 ½teaspoonssaltmore to taste
1cupwateror low sodium chicken stock
1cupwarm milkI use whole milk, but any kind would work
4tablespoonsunsalted butterat room temperature
1teaspoonblack pepper
½teaspoongarlic powder
Instructions
Wash and peel the potatoes. (Peeling is optional.) Cut the potatoes into chunks for even cooking.
