Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground turkey 93% lean
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs regular or whole‑wheat
  • 1 large egg lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon table salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley optional
  • Olive oil spray for the air fryer basket

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and parsley (if using). Mix gently until just combined.
  • Form the mixture into approximately 12 meatballs (about 1½ tablespoons each).
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  • Arrange the meatballs in a single layer in the basket. Cook in batches if needed.
  • Air fry for 9–12 minutes, flipping halfway. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Let rest for 1–2 minutes before serving.

Notes

Storage:
- These turkey meatballs in the air fryer are great for storing and reheating throughout the week. Store the meatballs in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days and reheat in the microwave or air fryer for a few minutes until warmed through.
- You can also easily freeze the cooked meatballs, making them a meal prep dream! Place them in a freezer bag and freeze for up to 2 months.
- When you’re ready to reheat, just thaw in the fridge overnight and place in the air fryer, oven, or microwave to heat until warmed through.
